Laurent Vidal is Chairman of the ICSS-Sorbonne Sport Integrity Program, research professor at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and co-director of the Department of Business Public Law of the Legal Research Institute of the Sorbonne - André Tunc (IRJS - Paris 1).
He is an expert in public corporate law, specialising in contractual and regulatory activities involving French and foreign authorities and, more broadly, public projects related to the administration of private and public companies.
His practice is centred on drafting and solving disputes in relation to public procurement, contract and competition law, mainly in the context of matters dealing with national and European Union competition law.
He has experience in advising and litigating on behalf of various clients, including the French State and local governments.
He is also associate researcher at the IRISSO-CNRS (the French National Center for Research) at University Paris Dauphine, where he is co-leads several research initiatives relating to the interaction between law and economic theory.
As an expert, he regularly collaborates with various law firms and is involved in several consultancies for specific projects or operations to the benefit of the public sector, on an international, national and local level.
