Rick PARRY
Former CEO of the English Premier League and of Liverpool Football Club
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young and spent several years as a management consultant with the firm.
Between 1985 and 1990 Rick advised Manchester on its bids for the Olympic Games. In 1990 he was asked to advise The Football Association on the creation of the Premier League and in 1991 he was recruited as the new league's first Chief Executive.
He remained in that role until 1997 when he left to take up a similar position at Liverpool Football Club.
Since leaving Liverpool in 2009 Rick has undertaken a number of football consultancy projects in the Middle East and North America.
In 2009 he chaired the Sports Betting Integrity Panel for the UK Government and in 2011 he acted as a specialist advisor to the Department Of Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee during its inquiry into football governance.
Rick has been a member of the ICSS Advisory Board since its inception in 2011.
