Université Paris 1 offers a one-year preparatory masters programme entitled "Mathematical Models in Economics and Finance" (DU MMEF) which enables students to integrate the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree QEM (EMJMD) programme. Upon successfully completing the DU MMEF programme, students may enter the first year of the 
Master Economics QEM.
