Student Visa



A student visa is mandatory for any foreigner wishing to study in Spain for three months or longer. All student visas are valid for a period of 90 days from your entry day into Spain. Personal appearance at the Spanish Consulate in your home country is required in order to submit the documentation.

 

 

To apply for a student visa the following requirements are usually required:

(ORIGINAL AND ONE FOTOCOPY OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS)

  • Passport valid for a minimum of 4 months. Make sure your passport is signed.
  • 3 recent pictures, passport size.(They must be passport photos).
  • Original letter addressed to the Consulate General verifying acceptance to the master courses and proof of having received financial aid or scholarship covering expenses for tuition, room, board, and personal expenses during the stay in Spain.
  • Proof of health insurance coverage during your stay in Spain.
  • Original medical certificate typed on doctor's stationary verifying that the applicant is free from the following quarantine diseases: yellow fever, cholera, and the plague. The certificate must also certify that the applicant is free of drug addictions and mental illness. These items must be specified and the letter must be signed by a Medical Doctor.
  • If the duration of stay in Spain is longer than six months, original certificate of good conduct issued by the police department of the city or cities in which the applicant has spent six months or more during the last five years.
